  1. There are cages/traps that you can purchase on e-bay. buy one that comes with instructions and it should work. Ciao Rita mammabellarte

  2. Are these raccoons coming around at night? If so, make sure you do not have any of the food you have for that cats out there, as that may be why they are coming around. We too have "outdoor cats" and I always give them some food first thing in the morning, there's never any left at night. We would have possums coming on our front porch eating the cat's food, so that's how I learned not to do that again! Have any of the kitties allowed you yet to come near them? We have one that's been around for a few years, and it's just been this summer that she's allowed me to pet her!

  4. Oh No! Maybe you will have to give those kitties away now....Or are you too attached? It will be better than having them hurt. OR the ONLY thing is to let them inside the garage or downstairs only.

  8. YIKES...we just lock our kitties @ the barn up @ night ...or the cougars bobcats & coyotes get them....sorry but its true! we only live 1 hour form Vancouver & we have all this to deal with!...So all I can say is lock them up and no food out!...best of luck!...also if you can start feeding them in the morning in the area you want to lock them up in ...then by night they get hungry and that encourages them to come in ...it is a bit of a job for a few days but they get the hang of it & love the security it offers!

  9. Raccoons are very clean, but are mean. You need to trap them and take them away, but be careful, you don't want rabies, Char
You could call animal control and see what they say.......

  10. Hi you can call animal control they usually will let you use their traps and than come out and take the raccoons and release them somewhere else. Do you live in the city limits or in the country? Home depot and Lowes sell the traps too.

  11. Hi again, I just joined your blog. I noticed one of your other posts you where surprised that there where five kitties now. Putting food out at night will attract other cats and animals. I know this from experience, I have a cat that is a indoor/outdoor cat I use to leave food out at night until I realized I was feeding other cats and wildlife. I don't leave food out at night anymore. I also noticed the size of the kitties, have they been fixed? If not you will eventually have babies. A lot of towns now have low/cost spay neuter clinics and even free clinics for feral cats. I hope you will thinks about having them fixed. Some towns even have groups that will come out and help catch the cats too. Good luck
